ebos® runs as a distributed system in a local network. Via terminal server solutions or via WEB, it can also be employed beyond just the local network.

System requirements for the ebos® client PCs:

  • Windows client PCs with operating system versions Windows10, Windows 8, Windows 7. (32 Bit or 64 Bit)
  • .NET Framework: 4.0.
  • RAM: at least 2 GB.
  • Hard disk: at least 5 GB.
  • CPU: at least 1 GHz.
  • No special hardware components are required, i.e., standard commercially PCs can be used.

System requirements for the ebos® Server PC:

  • Operating system: Windows 64 Bit - workstation or server
  • .NET Framework: 4.0.
  • RAM: at least 8 GB.
  • Hard disk: at least 50 GB.
  • CPU: at least 2 GHz.
  • LAN: at least 100 MBit.
  • No special hardware components are required, i.e., standard commercially PCs can be used.

Database:

  • Microsoft SQL Server

  • Database-supported ERP system with proprietary communication protocols.

Database interface for direct database queries of external systems:

  • SQL Server View tables which can be externally queried.
  • The View tables form a documented interface based on PXML.
  • Permits direct data queries via external systems as an alternative or supplement to file-based event-controlled data exchange.

Interface to PTS server:

  • According to PXML standard

Printers, label printers:

  • All standard commercially available printers and label printers are addresses via their Windows interface.
  • The printing layout is defined via report generators which the user can also modify himself.
